No electricity? No problem!
All we need is a sheet of paper and a pencil to make your ideas come to life.
Often times opening a laptop, starting a program, selecting a file, and going through the motions takes more time than whipping out a piece of paper and a pencil. At Narrative Graphics our staff have the skills to do just that.
The task was:
Render a portrait in profile.
Give that portrait focused detail.
Overlay anatomical layers in color.
Fine arts talent is the base upon which all other skills rest:
Sometimes in discussing an event, a place, an object, or even a person takes too long to conceptualize digitally. Using a program to show a client that we understand the directions they are relating to us can be time consuming. This is where good ole’ pencil and paper surpasses the best technology every time.
We have the ability to put down on paper exactly what our clients are talking about so they can rest assured that we understand the point. By using a simple sketch we can show clients the direction we are going to pursue so that we know everyone is on the same page.
Traditional fine art skills are crucial to us. This is the foundation upon which every other skill is built upon. How can you properly relate an injury without knowing how the body works? How can you create an emotional impression without understanding fundamentals of composition?
The answer: You can’t.
No matter the advances in hardware or software, nothing surpasses the efficacy of sketching out what a client is discussing… while they are discussing it.
