Using a pre-existing logo in new designs
The client wanted a new series of designs using an established logo.
The task was:
Create a new print package.
Incorporate their pre-existing logo.
Give the brand a stronger direction.
The client gave us the opportunity to create a completely updated print package and a new direction for their brand. We agreed that using their pre-existing logo to create a brand update would be the best direction to go. As in other cases, the first step was to better understand who the client was and their history.
They had a very strong relationship with Unions and we wanted to use that to create a bold look that related established strength.
Since this was going to be a brand update we wanted to show the package in an environment showing various branded merchandise along with all the printed media. This would offer them an opportunity to see their brand in a larger environment.
