Maximizing the use of an illustration

Showing the details and keeping attention where you want it.

This illustration was created to show that certain nerves and injuries can affect the same area of the body.

The task was:
  • Create an illustration of an arm.

  • Show the dermatome chart overlay.

  • Focus on the median nerve and C7 area of the arm.

Unique solution:

This illustration was created to show an overlay of the Median Nerve and C7 dermatome. Once the illustration was created the two dermatome maps were overplayed an it was brought into a presentation program and animated.
